He is survived by: his significant other Deb Devereaux of Rensselaer; his siblings, Chris Smart (Rosalita) of Morocco and Jennifer Smart of Michigan City; his nephews, Jeffrey Boyd Smart (Nellie), Boyd Thomas Smart II, Gregory Nicholas Smart and John Thomas Smart; his great-nieces, Haley Smart, Angela Smart and Amethyst Smart; his great-nephew Jeffrey Boyd Smart, Jr.; and also Arayah Nicole Smart.
