He was predeceased by: his parents, John Brickey and Martha Brickey (Dye); and his wife Joy Kathleen Dykes of Esserville. He is survived by: his sons, David N. Brickey (Mary Ella) of Monticello and Gerald W. Brickey (Paula "Jayne") of Thorntown; his sister Pearl Holbrook (Kedrick) of Ohio; and his sister-in-law Elizabeth Batton (Sue) of Maryland. He is also survived by two grandsons, two granddaughters; seven great grandsons; one great great grandson; two step grandsons; one step granddaughter; nine step great grandchildren.
