We are sad to announce that on June 11, 2022, at the age of 89, Robert L. Wrede Sr. of Monticello, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Harvey Wrede; his daughter Rebecca Lynn "Becky" Shook; his brother Harvey Raymond "Ray" Wrede; his siblings-in-law, Max Leon Long and Sharon Kaye Crouse (Floyd); his father Milton Long; and his mother-in-law Helen Long.

He is survived by: his son Wrede Trucking; his wife Joyce; his sons, Rickey "Skip" Wrede (Vicki) of Lafayette, Ted Wrede (Kelly), Robert Wrede, Jr. (Jan) and Kenneth Wrede (Ronda) of Monticello; his brother Roe Wrede (Linda) of Cloverdale; his son-in-law David Shook (Debbie); and his sister-in-law Nancy Wrede. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
