He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul R. Rose and Patricia Ann Rose (Alsop); his wife Brenda Jarrard; his daughter Jana Talbert; and his grandson Dylan Mullis.
He is survived by: his daughters, Natasha S. Lock (Mark) of Monon and Erica Anderson (Ed) of Frankfort; his brothers, Mike Rose (Tracy) of Lafayette and Brian Rose; his grandchildren, Natalie Johnson (Cody), Seth Mullis, Hope Lock, Monica Sharp, Emma Novaski, Tatyana Escalante, Tylor Escalante and Trent Anderson; and his great grandchild Ember Johnson.
Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer Association for pancreatic cancer or Monticello Christian Church.
