He is survived by: his wife Myrna Michal (Capper) of Monticello; his children, Neal Michal (Sandy) of Martin, GA, Deb Baker (David) of Sturgis, MI, Mark Michal of Monticello and Aaron Clay of Monticello; his sister-in-law Beverly Clay of Inverness, FL; and his grandchildren, Jay Michal, Blake Michal (Blair), Alex Baker, Bernie Baker (Liz), Zach Seibert (Crystal), Brooke Michal, Brittany Michal, Bret Michal, Brianna Michal, Chassidy Duttenhaver (Kevin), Lateasha Mata (Alex), Michaela Shocke, Josh Seibert, Kadence Clay, Asher Clay, Drake McAninch and Ariel Long (Ryan).
