Akers of Monticello, Indiana, born in Bloomington, Indiana, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Paul Akers; his children, Jacquelin Thompson of Indianapolis, Indiana and Wayne Akers (Barb) of Monticello, Indiana; his grandchildren, Aaron "Marla", Michelle, Scott, Nichole, Christina, Jessica, Amanda and Fourteen; his great grandchildren, Ashley, Eric, Jr., MaKaila, Harley, Dominic, Logan, Luke, Jade, Kaitlyn, Natalie, Malynda, Sydney and Danyelle; his great great grandchildren, Serenity, Emmorie and Kaylee; his sister Barbara Rayburn of Reynolds, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Johnny Lawson (Shirley) of Berry, Bee Rooker of Hillsboro, Grady Lawson (Joan) of Cynthiana, Clarence Lawson (Sandy) of Leesburg, Kentucky and Numerous. He was also cherished by Numerous Nieces, Nephews, Great Nieces, Great Nephews, Great Great Nieces, Great Great Nephews, Cousins.
