She was predeceased by: her parents, Palmer Bennett and Laura Mae Bennett (Bayless); her son Terry Hays; her siblings, Velma Covert and Clarence Bennett; her niece Brenda York; her nephews, Eddie and Glenn Hampton; and her sister-in-law Rosemary Bailey.
She is survived by: her husband Jerry Reece; and her children, Charlotte Stone, Cathy Reece, Tammie Reece and Jerilynn Canaday. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Kennard Baptist Church or the charity of donor's choice.
