She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Mariam Wiggins and Benjamin Harrison Hewitt; her sister Kimberly Lacey (Hewitt); and the father of her children Keith Allen Peavler. She is survived by: her sons, Adam Peavler (Vanniza) of Middletown, IN. and Jared Peavler of Middletown, IN.; her significant other John Dawson of Jacksonville, IL.; and her grandchildren, Natalie, Adam Nathaniel, Matthew and Rubee Peavler.

Julie was a lifelong animal lover and in lieu of flowers would ask that you honor her memory by donating to your local animal shelter.
