He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Rufus and Eulalia Howard (Lakey); his brothers, Don, Pete, Bill and Bob Howard; his son Rick Howard; his granddaughter Jessica Howard; his great grandchild Carson Clark; and his great great grandchild Bentley Cherry.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Howard (Scothorn); his daughters, Cricket Bridges and Stephanie DeLoughery; his grandchildren, Carrie Simpson (Scott), Amy Riggs, Aaron DeLoughery, Matthew DeLoughery and Mandy Miller (Andrew); and his great grandchildren, Taylor Kimble (Jordan), Lillian Cherry (Steven), Callie Miller, Asher Miller, Grant Riggs and Clay Riggs. He is also survived by five great-great grandchildren.
