It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVon P. Haynes Jr. of Marion, Indiana, born in Peru, Indiana, who passed away on January 22, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, LaVon Haynes, Sr. and Mary Wise (Davis); his sisters, LaMoina Haynes and Vickie Wohlheter; and his stepfather Gerald Wise.
He is survived by: his son Adam Haynes of Marion; and his siblings, James Wise (Nancy) of Marion, Greg Wise (Lorrayne) of Marion, Kim Wise (Julie) of Marion, LaZett Haynes of Marion, LaVern Haynes (Rhonda) of Marion and Larue Haynes (Michelle) of Marion. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
