With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hazel F. Cornman of Marion, Indiana, born in Jonesville, Virginia, who passed away on April 29, 2024 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Hazel F. Cornman to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Kirk and Maxie Kirk (Kelly); her husband Bennie L. Cornman; and her siblings, Ernest Kirk, Oscar Kirk, Doyle Kirk, Mildred King and Blanche Kirk.
She is survived by: her daughter Susan M. Smith (Doug) of La Follette, TN; her granddaughters, Brittain Varney (Buck) and Codi Rose (Bobby); her great grandchildren, Turner Nathan Varney and Hazel Joann Varney; her siblings, Denver Kirk, Walter Kirk (Ferl), Thelma Kirk, Lucy Alsup and Lillie Sternfield; and her pets, Mama Kitty, Blackie and Frisky. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
