He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Miller Newhouse; his children, Daniel C. Newhouse (Robin) of Marion and Michelle R. Nichols (Brian) of Union, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Lorrie R. Newhouse of West Lafayette, Bradey D. Newhouse (Emmie) of Marion, Katelyn M. Nichols of Cincinnati, Adam Z. Nichols of Union and Erika S. Newhouse of Marion, Indiana; his great grandchild Calum D. Newhouse of Marion, Indiana; his sister-in-law Nancy J. Newhouse; his niece Karen Sue Shane (Dave); and his nephew Ronnie Joe Newhouse (Jody).
