It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred L. Troxell (Marion, Indiana), who passed away on March 26, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Fred L. Troxell to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alonzo Troxell and Lona Troxell (Ellis); and his daughter Sheryl Macak. He is survived by: his wife Ada Troxell; and his children, Susan Carroll, Paul Troxell, Randy Troxell (Janet) and David Waggoner (Susan). He is also survived by several loving grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
This led him to donate countless hours of his time to serving others through involvement with Grace Community Church where he was a member, serving on Marion City Council, acting as trustee to his local UAW chapter, and being an allied member of Marion's NAACP branch.
