She is survived by: her husband John McIlwain; her sons, John "JJ" Mason McIlwain II (Stacy) of West Virginia and Michael James McIlwain of Marion; her sister Carla Brane of Andrews; and her grandchildren, Ava and Alexander McIlwain.
