It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Mary Hunt of Madison, Indiana, born in Lexington, Indiana, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell M. Richardson and Annis Lavene Richardson (Dean); her children, Dennis S. Moots and Nancy L. Furst; and her siblings, Russell J. Richardson, Cindy Richardson, Wilma Helton and Mildred Shelton.
She is survived by: her husband Graham T. "G. T." of Madison; her stepchildren, Susan Michelle Hunt of Eminence, Mary Angela Hunt of Chattanooga, Nancy Carol Barr (Howard) of Hanover and Christopher J. Hunt of Versailles, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jordan Moots, Cody Moots, Ron Thomas Hunt, Jared Allen Hewitt, Todd Michael Polland, Adam Joe Barr, Jeremy Lee Barr and Jessica Ann Barr; her stepgrandson Michael Furst; and her sister-in-law Virginia Richardson of Deputy, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
