She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby C. King and Sylvia Alice Wilhelm King; her husband Graham T. Firth; her son Richard Allen Turner; her stepdaughter Sylvia F. Colen; and her siblings, Opal M. Richmond, Dessie Kohl, Tessie King, Albert Roy King, Howard Henry King and Paul Clarence King.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Shimfessel (Gary) of Madison and Wanda Thacker (Ron) of Madison, Indiana; her grandchildren, Jack Shimfessel (Tina) and Melinda Shimfessel (John Ault); her stepgrandchildren, Ronald Thacker, II (Angela), Christina Vincent (Ronnie), Bonnie Colen (Jimmy) and Denny Crandell (Shawn); her great grandchildren, Megan Robbins (Thomas) and Katie Shimfessel; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kevin, Kyle, Kris and Scott; and her great great grandchildren, Brynna, Izzabella "Izzy", Pyper, Jaxson, Addy, Eli, Leland Robert, Alexis and Grace Elizabeth. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the 4-H Scholarship Fund or the American Diabetes Association or the Eastern Star.
