With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Day of Madison, Indiana, who passed away on October 28, 2021 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowery Hartford Day and Lena M. McDole Day; his brother Arnold Day; and his wife Carolyn Jean Ashby Day. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Allen (Derek) of Vevay, Stephanie Day (Ray) of Madison, Indiana, Gregory Edward Day of Madison, Kevin Daniel Day (Lissie) of Madison and Brian Andrew Day (Amanda) of Madison, Indiana; his grandchildren, Adam Day (Ashley), Seth Schafer (Taryn), Brayden Allen, Sarah Day, Brooke Day (Robbie Woolf), Taylor Day and Shawn Pennington; his great grandchildren, Charlie, Taylor and Savannah; his brother Danny Day (Connie) of Madison, Indiana; and his siblings-in-law, Polly Temple of Milton, Pamela Scroggin Phillips (Joseph) of Madison, Marcella Stewart (Terry Wells) of Madison, Indiana and William "Bill" Warren (Juanita) of Madison, Indiana. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Manville Christian Church or Remembrance fund for his grandchildren.
