With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Lee Scranton of Madison, Indiana, born in Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on February 8, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dewey Kelly and Anna Kelly (Surrett); her children, Missy Temple and Robert Harmon; and her siblings, Nancy Breeden, Anna Richards, Donald Kelly and Billy Kelly.
She is survived by: her close friend Carl P. Richards of Madison; her children, Carol Harmon of Carrollton, Rhonda Heightchew (Steve) of New Castle and Harold Scranton (Lisa) of Bennington, Indiana; her grandchildren, Nathan Scranton, Kayla Scranton, Tyler Cranmer, Isabella Richards, McKayla Richards, Larry Hedgepeth, Jr., Devon Lionetti, Ryan Harmon, Jennifer Clark, Amy Murray, Jaysen Temple, Brittany Harlow and Seth Harlow; and her great grandchildren, Addi Cranmer, Ethan Harmon, Emma Harmon, Brayden Brown, Elly Brown, Colton Temple, Kaliegh Scott and Izabella Scott.
The family requests memorial contributions be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children. Contributions may be made at the Lytle Welty Funeral Home or below.
