He is survived by: his wife Diane Burns; his children, R. D. Burns (Rachel), Bridget Hite, Aaron Burns and Shelly Maness; his grandchildren, James Maness, Ayden Burns, Calloway Burns, Cora Burns, Caylynn Burns and Cayson Norris; his stepgranddaughters, Morgan Hite, Justina Hite, Anna Hite and Shelby Hite; his brothers, Richard Burns (Jane) and Daniel Burns (Cheryl); his mother-in-law Rosalee Linn; and his sisters-in-law, Linda Burns and Macy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Macy/Allen Township Fire Department or the Fulton/Liberty Township Fire Department.
