She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Allen and Helen Marie Rhea (Richhart); her husband Raymond Floyd Armstrong; her sons, Raymond "Butch" Armstrong, Thomas Armstrong and Donald Armstrong; her siblings, Harold Rhea, Floyd Rhea, Jr., Albert Rhea and Alice Guy; her granddaughters, Christine R. Craig and Kelly J. Armstrong; and her great grandchildren, Kaije B. Smith and Nola Corwin.

She is survived by: her children, Cynthia G. Riehle of Kokomo, Cheryl L. Phillips (David) of Demotte, Penny L. Armstrong (Jim Smith) of North Vernon and David A. Armstrong of Logansport; her brothers, Robert John Rhea and Ronald Rhea; and her niece Helen K. Howell. She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 56 great-grandchildren and 29 great-great grandchildren.
