He was predeceased by: his parents, William Russell and Ethel M. Collins (Hunter); his daughter Tammy Kruger; and his siblings, Roy Collins, Tom Collins, Bill Collins, Barb Gabelli, Charlotte Collins and Mary Hughes.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Katherine Hellyer; his children, Sherry Pfaff of Logansport, Brenda Farrell (Larry) of Peru, Mark Collins (Bev) of Logansport, Joyce Cunningham (Michael) of Logansport, Russell Collins, III of Logansport, Patti Collins of Logansport, Ronnie Collins (Billie Jo) of Logansport and Reva Taylor (Demetrius) of Logansport; and his siblings, Gary Collins of Indianapolis, Donna Anderson (Jack) of Logansport, Doris Griffith of Logansport, Pat Hopper of Indianapolis and Helen Guy (Skeet) of Logansport. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
