He was predeceased by: his parents, T. C. Bass and Agnes Bass (Carden). He is survived by: his wife Kathleen E. Bass of Logansport; his children, Robin E. Bass (Martin) and Lindsay M. Bass (John); and his grandsons, Wolfgang and Bear Becker of San Francisco, California..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation and Best Friends Animal Society.
