She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Siferd and Alice Siferd. She is survived by: her husband Allen H. Hanawalt; her children, Beth Hanawalt of Durham, NC and Christian Hanawalt of North Manchester, IN; her granddaughter Emily Hanawalt of Peru, IN; her sister Barbara Jean Hipskind (Robert); her niece Jill Hardin (Kent) of Andulusia, IL; and her nephew Robert P. Hipskind (Peggy).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Webb Chapel Church building fund.
