She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Kent and Cleo Mae Bloomer (Cooper); her sisters, Shirley Everson and Gelene Skinner; and her daughter Christine E. Smith.

She is survived by: her husband Karl Edward Smith; her children, William E. Smith (Martha) of Edmond, Oklahoma and Karla C. Padfield of Logansport; and her grandchildren, Korree C. Mata (Chris) of Texas, Abby E. Smith (Joe) of Edmond and Brian J. Smith (Alison) of Edmond, Oklahoma.

Memorial contributions may be given to First United Methodist Church, 800 E. Broadway, Logansport.
