He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Goodman and Pearl Goodman (Spurgeon); his wife Audrey (Higar); and his siblings, Delores Hogue, Marilyn Dailey, Dick, Don, Howard and Ronald Goodman.
He is survived by: his sons, Tim Goodman (Tammy) of Linton and Randy Goodman (Dawn) of Tennessee; his grandchildren, Josh Goodman (Danielle) of Linton and Jordan Goodman (Lindsay) of Clinton; his great grandchild Cameron Goodman; and his brother Ott E. Goodman (Elizabeth) of Tennessee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
