He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gaither and Martha Lorraine Gaither (Brogan) of Linton, Indiana.; and his brother Robert Gaither. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Gaither (Bunte); his children, Jesse Gaither of Linton and Emily Bauer (Jed) of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; his granddaughter Penelope "Nelly" Bauer; and his sibling Thatcher Gaither (Shelva).
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations sent to the Greene Sullivan State Forest through the funeral home.
