He was predeceased by: his father Brian Brandt; and his grandmother Victoria Ashworth. He is survived by: his mother Andrea R. Brandt (Ashworth) of Lebanon; his sisters, Alexis Fischer (Triston) of Greenwood and Gracie Brandt of Lebanon; and his grandparents, Terena James of Lebanon, Dean Brandt (Bonnie) of Indianapolis and Harry Ashworth of Lebanon.

Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Boone County Habitat for Humanity.
