Bessie L. Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bessie L. Smith (Lebanon, Indiana), born in Virginia, Illinois, who passed away on November 3, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Dean and Sadie C. Norris (DeGroot). She is survived by: her spouse Bennie Smith; her daughters, Pamela Smith of Lebanon, Michelle Smith of Lebanon and Lisa Adams of Walkerton, Indiana; her sister Doris Brant of Danville, Illinois; and her half-sisters, Betty Hoover and Leah Dick. She is also survived by four grandsons.
Due to the pandemic and health concerns, Bessie recently attended Fairview Congregational Christian Church.
