He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Gray and Mary Etta Gray (Johnson); and his siblings, Roger Gray, Greg Gray, Warren Gray, Mary Lynn Martini and Kathryn Gray.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Gray of Florence, KY; his sons, Stephen Gray (Cathy) of Lawrenceburg, IN and Matthew Gray of Lawrenceburg, IN; his granddaughters, Meghan Gray and Stephanie Gray; and his siblings, Harold Gray of Cincinnati, OH, Wayne Gray of Cincinnati, OH, Stephen Gray of Addyston, OH, Dennis Gray of Dry Ridge, KY, Gail Bingle of Cleves, OH and Sue Benton of Gautier, MS..
