He was predeceased by: his wife Bernice. He is survived by: his sons, Charles, Jr. (Monica), Thomas (Terri), Joseph (Theryl) and Bernard (Roberta); and his siblings, Shirley Cayer and Leonard. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Parkinson's Foundation or the American Heart Assoc.
