Catherine Riffle Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2020, at the age of 74, Catherine Riffle (Lake Station, Indiana), born in Hobart, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James J. Riffle and Doris E. Riffle; and her sister Marguerite "Babe" Treece. She is survived by: her children, Catherine Brandt (Brian) of LaPorte, Lynette Woodward (Dennis) of Hammond, Julie Bellomy (Mike) of Galeton, CO, Michelle, Tammy Knoerzer (Joel) of Wheeler and Roger Jestes of Hudson, NH; her grandchildren, Jennifer VanTil (Matthew Jay), Sara Szynal (Tyler), Brandon Thomas (Jennifer), Matthew, Christian, Elizabeth Talley, Michael, Summer Bellomy and Ayden Elkins; her brother James Riffle, II of Las Vegas, NV; and her pet Mitzi. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in Cathy's memory are preferred to the Hobart Humane Society.
