He was predeceased by: his parents, Roberto Rivera and Josefina Rivera; his niece Lisette Rivera; his great-niece Alicia L. Rodriguez; and his great grandchild Landon Swafford.
He is survived by: his wife Maurillis "Millie" Rivera; his children, Tabitha Jones and Brian Jones (Anna) of Brook, IN; his sisters, Dinorah Gonzalez (Samuel) of Tampa, FL and Lillian Torres (Luis); his grandchildren, Patience Hudkins (Brendan), Serenity Jones and Josh Zylo (Laurel); his great grandchildren, Miles and Aria Hudkins; and his nieces and nephews, Marisol, Iris, Valentine, Amadelys, Jason, Delilah, Samuel Jr. and Roberto.
