He was predeceased by: his parents, Goldie Hurst (Kochel) and William Delbert Hurst; his siblings, Charles Hurst and Carole Sue High; his sister-in-law Pat Hurst; and his pet Arlo Hurst.
He is survived by: his brother-in-law Lloyd High; his close friend Greta Overfelt of Crawfordsville, IN.; his wife Greta Hurst; his children, Andrea Clark (Steve), Jeremy Hurst (West Lafayette) and Joshua Hurst (Erin) of Nashville, TN; his stepchildren, Kimberly Linson (Will) of Twinsburg, OH and Kallie Fell (Chris) of San Francisco, CA; his grandchildren, Dakota, Addison Clark, Will III, Kamiya, Niles Linson, Zella Fell, Lloyd High, Steve Ford, Burk Thompson, Bruce and Tina Etter; and his nephews, Chuck Hurst (Bonnie), Ron Hurst (Kay) and Mike Hurst (Celicia).
