With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Jo Alsop of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on August 30, 2023 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Peggy Jo Alsop to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Halsema and Gladys Halsema (Neal); her husband William F. Alsop; and her siblings, Valli Welborn, Homer and Lonnie Halsema.
She is survived by: her children, Kevin Alsop (Sylvia) of West Lafayette, Tamara Coppock of Lafayette, Cheryl Shires of Lafayette, Christina Bowman (Paul) of Lafayette, Trisha Higley (Steve) of West Lafayette and Denise Blevins of Lafayette; and her sister Carolyn Pruitt. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
