It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael E. Walker of Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on January 30, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Walker and Lula Walker (McBrite); his wife Phyllis M. Williams; and his son Brian Walker. He is survived by: his children, Michael Walker Jr. (Jan), Larry Walker (Sharon), Randy Walker, Brad Walker (Debbi), Sandy Nugent (Dempsey), Carol Hamilton (Mike), Joy Walker and Sheila Atkinson (Kenny). He is also survived by 41 great grandchildren, 24 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
