We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024, at the age of 102, Marvin George Dykhuizen of Lafayette, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Marvin George farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Marvin George is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Dykhuizen and Alberta Dykhuizen (Goris); his wife Mary Pat (Patton); and his daughter-in-law Betty Dykhuizen (Keiser). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Lauri Ruemler (Don), Dawn Jasinski (Tony), Adam (Stefanie), Brad (Stephanie) and Calvin. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.
In lieu of usual remembrances, memorial contributions may be directed to Lafayette Christian Reformed Church or Lafayette Christian School.
