He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Hatten and Carol Hatten (Luther); and his nephew Jere Hill, Jr.. He is survived by: his siblings, Karen Hill of Lafayette and Michael "Mike" Hatten (Lori) of Lafayette; his nieces, Angelia Hill, Theresia Hill and Jessica Edwards; and his pet Knucklehead. He is also survived by 6 great nieces and nephew; many cousins.
