It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Franklin Cannaday Jr. of Lafayette, Indiana, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on March 27, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Sr. and Geneva L. Cannaday (Bradshaw). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Helle, Danny Helle and Chad Leill (Brooke); his grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Rileigh, Taelen, Jaidyn and Jackson; his siblings, Debra Hart (Phillip), Greg Cannaday (Lori), Steve Cannaday (Barb) and Robert Cannaday; and his nieces and nephews, Daniel, John, Heather, Sara and Corey.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in John's memory may be given to Natalie's Second Chance No Kill Dog Shelter, 10 S. 16th Street, Lafayette, IN 47905.
