He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard W. Forbes and Velma L. Griffin Forbes; his sister Konita Forbes Dougherty; and his great-grandparent Bishop Eli B. Griffin. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn K. Foss Forbes; his sons, Randal S. Forbes (Tamarah) of Lawrence, Indiana, Rick A. Forbes (Elle) of Atlanta, Georgia, Rodney E. Forbes (Marydell) of West Lafayette, Indiana and Ryan T. Forbes (Angela) of Denver, Colorado; his grandchildren, Ryanne (James), Rae (Matthew), Connor, Cameron, Brody, Keegan (Marissa), Aidan, Tyler (Amber) and Kyleigh (Jayden); his great grandchildren, Annabelle, Oliver, Zachary, Maximilian, Evelyn, Vaylee and Jaren; and his close friend Mike Erickson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
