It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Robert Howell of La Porte, Indiana, who passed away at the age of 84, on January 24, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Descum and Jean Mae Howell (Lee); and his brother Lloyd Howell. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne "Sue" Marie Schultz; his children, Jeff Howell (Tana) of Columbia City and Brenda Cooper (Greg) of La Porte; and his grandchildren, Scott Cooper of Grand Rapids, MI, Kara Cooper of La Porte, Jordan Howell of Columbia City, Alexandra Howell of Columbia City, Katie Howell of Columbia City and Alyssa Rigdon of Fairmount. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the Jane Bernard Animal Adoption Center, 2855 West State Road 2, La Porte, IN 46350.

“I just found out about the passing of Lee. I am so sad I did not know as Wendy and I would have attended his celebration of life and expressed our sympathy to the Howell family. He was a very kind and loving person, and his memory will live on with the many lives he touched. We pray for comfort and peace for the whole family. Much love and prayers. Carol McCombs and family.”
