It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ralph Lipscomb of La Porte, Indiana, born in Harlan, Kentucky, who passed away on August 13, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Debbie Jane Lipscomb (Simpson); his grandson Thomas Lipscomb; his sister Dana Engle; and his half-siblings, W. Earl Howard, Charles A., Virgil P., J. Roscoe, Ray, Lemuel, Loren Lipscomb and Ola Latham.
He is survived by: his spouse Idella Ruth Fredricks; his children, Larry Lipscomb (Nancy) of Boise, Jo Ann Sparks of South Bend, Daniel Lipscomb (Connie) of La Porte, Allen Wesolowski (Carol) of Free Soil, Calvin Wesolowski (Krista) of Starkville and Thomas Wesolowski (Marissa) of Columbus, Ohio; and his brother Lewis D. Lipscomb (Erika) of Salinas, California. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
