Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Phyllis Waymire of La Porte, Indiana, born in Fargo, North Dakota, who passed away at the age of 87, on November 6, 2021. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Pownell and Gertrude Pownell (Spies); her husband Herschel Waymire; her daughter Karen Bathaur; and her siblings, Duane Pownell, Bernice Arrett, Lois Falk and Evelyn Henry.
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Goodman of Lake Station, IN, Sheryl Tabor of Evansville, IN, Steven Mead of Knox, IN and Garry Waymire (Lou Ann) of Lady Lake, FL; and her grandchildren, Jason, Jakala, Jessica, Justin, Doug, Donna and Gykala. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Fish Lake American Legion.
