He was predeceased by: his niece Liberty Reign Hicks; and his grandparents, Ray and Dorothy Shei. He is survived by: his parent Mary Pointon (Shei); his stepfather Richard Doughty of Westville; his children, Michael Thomas Pointon of Goshen and Mia Belle Pointon of Goshen; the mother of his children Amy Pointon of Goshen; and his sisters, Dorothy Maxine Livers (Quiante) of Westville and Mary J. Hicks of Portage. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
