She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Peters and Mary Eva Peters (Gibson); her husband Erik A. Nielsen; and her son-in-law Robert Bishop. She is survived by: her children, Mary Bishop of La Porte, Susan Pahs (Kenneth) of Wanatah and Peter Nielsen (Mary Kay) of La Porte; and her granddaughter Ashley Nielsen (Jeri) of Stillwell.
