It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Florence Allen (La Porte, Indiana), born in Brazil, Indiana, who passed away on April 16, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Grover and Lucille Grover (Kaminski); her brothers, Ed, Len and Michael Grover; her father-in-law John R. Allen Sr.; and her sisters-in-law, Tammy Corley and Marta Lott.
She is survived by: her husband John Richard Allen Jr.; her children, Elizabeth Allen of La Porte and John R. Allen III (Carrie) of Walkerton; her grandchildren, Claudia of Walkerton, Caitlyn of Walkerton, John R. Allen IV of Walkerton, Cheyanne of La Porte and Gabriel Allen of La Porte; her siblings, Nancy Bachelor of Shelby Township, MI and Ron Grover (Pennie) of Ray, MI; her mother-in-law Dolores Allen of Walkerton; and her siblings-in-law, Vicki Smith (Ed) of Chesapeake, VA, Bruce Allen (Dianne) of La Porte and Guy Allen (Christine) of Walkerton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and foster grandchildren.
