She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Kemmer and Mary Alice Kemmer (Hoover); her son Andrew Ballard; and her brother Steven Kemmer. She is survived by: her husband Dr. J. Logan Ballard; her son Jeffrey Ballard (Kristen) of Indianapolis, Indiana; her grandchildren, Luke James, Benjamin Erik, Abigail Paige and David Andrew Ballard; and her siblings, Kenneth Kemmer (Laverne) of Tallahassee, Philip Kemmer (Anna) of Lafayette, Diana Miller (Robert) of Lexington and Martha Kemmer of Columbus.
