He is survived by: his parents, Amy Lynn Pirkel (Ackerman) of Three Rivers, MI and Richard "Rich" Pirkel (Toni) of Michigan City; his daughter Daisy Pirkel of La Porte; his grandmother Barb Truman of Galien, MI; his siblings, Daniel Pirkel of Iona, MI, Alicia Smithmann (Tim) of Michigan City, Eric Fleck of Three Rivers, MI, Richard A. Pirkel of Michigan City, Nicholas James Pirkel of Michigan City and Levi Nothdruft of Three Rivers, MI; his grandparents, Richard Walter Pirkel, Steve Truman, Joan Fesler and James Ackerman; his sister Jessica Brandon; and his cousin Sarah Matheny. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
