He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Hootman and Ruth Hootman (Unger); and his brothers-in-law, Allen Jones, Robert Kain and Hector Garcia.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Housley; his daughter Anndrea Kuhn (Aaron) of Batavia, IL; his grandchildren, Brayden and Hiley Kuhn; his siblings, Robert Hootman of La Porte, Steven Hootman (Suzanne) of Seattle, WA, Mary Ann Huber (Paul) of La Porte, Martha Jones of New Carlisle, Sandra Garcia of La Porte and Kelly Brietzka (Michael) of La Porte; and his stepmother Sharon Hootman of La Porte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
