She was predeceased by: her parents, J. T. Clanton and Hattie Clanton (Jones); her children, John Goodman, Charles Goodman and Diane Volk; and her brothers, Wallace Clanton, Harold Clanton, Mack Clanton and Clifton Clanton.

She is survived by: her husband Charles L. Goodman; her children, Anita Jackowicz of Hudson Lake, IN and Eric Goodman (Kathy Underwood) of La Porte, IN; her brother Billy Joe Clanton (Diane) of Illinois; and her daughter-in-law Sandy Goodman of La Porte, IN. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, forty-one great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
