He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Konieczny and Julia Faye Konieczny (Samford). He is survived by: his daughter Megan Smith of Lakeville, Indiana; and his siblings, Lana Bloom (Larry) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Roger Brown (Rae Ann) of La Porte and Anthony "Tony" Konieczny (Sarah) of La Porte. He is also survived by four nieces; a nephew; and many great nieces and nephews.
